Mechanical Applications Engineer job for a recent graduate engineer interested in mechanical engineering design.This is a mechanical Applications Engineer job working in the engineering team; adapting products to meet customer specifications for different mechanical engineering demands.This Applications Engineer job is a mix of design work and some hands on practical work.Above all this is a great working environment for a recent graduate mechanical engineer with a desire to learn and develop themselves in a team.
£27,000 salary plus pension
Office based in Leicester
4 day working week (35hrs) Monday to Thursday
· Working in a mechanical engineering team.
· Using Solidworks to adapt product designs to meet customer applications.
· Working towards delivering customer designs, meeting deadlines, finding solutions, working with manufacturing engineers to develop final designs, and meeting customer quality and customer satisfaction goals.
· Products are used by customers in many engineering sectors; rail, industrial machinery, overhead signage, safety systems, consumer machinery, specialist vehicles, etc etc.
The ideal background could include
· A mechanical engineering degree or HND or similar.
· A strong grasp of engineering principles and the ability to apply these to practical mechanical solutions.
· The ability to communicate in a team environment with colleagues, and understand customer objectives from engineering drawings and by taking part in conversations with colleagues and customers.
· A demonstrated ability to understand how to meet deadlines, and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
Applications Engineer
£27,000 + pension.
Permanent. On Site. Working 4 Days – Monday to Thursday.
8.00am – 17.15pm. 35 Hours Per Week.
