Your background as a Quality Manager:
You will have previously worked in a Quality Manager, Quality, Health, and Safety Manager, QHSE Manager role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
We are looking for a Quality Manager that can understand the ethos, culture and values of the business and drive QHSE to align with the business, not the other way around.
A focus on driving quality, health, and safety, QHSE through the culture of the business, not making it a box ticking exercise – you will have lots of support from the Directors and Senior Leadership Team on this.
Thorough knowledge and experience of ISO9001 quality management.
Nebosh certification would be advantageous but not essential – training and development can be offered to achieve this.
Quality Manager responsibilities:
Take ownership of the leadership, development, and application of best practice Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental strategies, processes, policies, and procedures (ISO9001, 14001 and specific industry standards).
A strong focus on customer and supplier quality.
Leadership and ongoing development of small team (2 people).
Collaborate effectively with quality management colleagues at other group sites when necessary (US & China) but we are not expecting this role to involve international travel.
Champion and drive the continuous improvement culture and activities.
