Production Engineer. Bourne, Peterborough. £30,000 - £35,000

· Production Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer based near to Bourne in Lincolnshire.

· Excellent opportunity for a graduate engineer or apprentice trained engineer to work within a role which will provide broad exposure to manufacturing.

· Established, stable and successful business that design and manufacture specialist equipment for the agricultural industry worldwide.

· £32,000 - £35,000 salary as a very rough estimate but will be dependent on experience + pension + 25 days holiday and all bank holidays. 2:30pm finish on a Friday afternoon!

This Production Engineer job will suit:

· Experience working within a Production Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or similar.

· Preferably you will have some knowledge of manufacturing and production techniques / processes.

· This is a very broad role – you will get involved with the Design team as well as the production team, so any knowledge of CAD & Engineering drawings, prototypes, CRM / ERP systems will be highly beneficial.

· Engineering qualifications – Degree, HND, HNC, Apprenticeship or equivalent.

· You will need to be able to commute to their facility in Bourne.

The Production Engineer job will involve:

· Working alongside the design and production teams to develop procedures and processes to ensure high quality, cost effective and efficient production of new and existing products.

· Using a professional ERP system – working with Bills of Material

· Interpret and help to produce CAD drawings.
