This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD Technician / CAD Designer / CAD Engineer to join a growing UK engineering business that is part of global engineering group of companies. You will have lots of opportunity for training and development alongside working with and being supported by experienced Engineers. 

​

Your background as a CAD Technician:

• You will have previous experience of using AutoCAD or a similar CAD package to produce 2D and 3D engineering drawings and designs.

• You will hold a recognised engineering qualification (Apprenticeship / HNC / HND / Degree) in a relevant engineering discipline.

• Any experience of working within an electrical / electronics / systems engineering environment would be beneficial but not essential.

CAD Technician responsibilities:

• You will become an integral member of an agile SME engineering organisation where you will get the opportunity to work on real engineering projects supported by experienced engineers from day one.

• Projects typically cover electrical / electronic systems design, test and commissioning of integrated safety, control, and automation systems for hazardous industrial environments.

• You will produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings and designs using AutoCAD for a wide variety of projects.

• As your experience develops within the role you will have the opportunity to take on a wider range of project responsibilities.
